Fees and Costs:

1. Escrow/Closing fees for residential single family is $200.00

2. Commercial Escrow/Closing fees are negotiable depending on transaction and start at $350.00

3. Tax Search and Reports of both personal property taxes of owners. And real estate taxes $75.00

4. Attorney Deed Preparation is usually $35.00

5. Revenue Stamps are required to be purchased from the State of Arkansas and are calculated on the amount of consideration for the transfer in thousand dollar increments. (rounding up) By statute 16 there is assessed a tax of $2.20 on buyer and $1.10 on seller. The statute states that the cost is to be split unless otherwise agreed. There are some exceptions from the stamp requirement as set out in ACA 26-60-101.
